About the Hall

The Institute Hall has been serving Kelvedon residents since 1911, the Hall is managed by a committee consisting of elected and co-opted members together with  representative members nominated by local organisations.
 
Management  Committee meetings are scheduled for the second Monday of alternate months (Jan., March etc.) at 8pm in the Back Room, entrance via side door.

What the Hall provides for your money:

A session includes use of the Main hall, Stage, Kitchen and rear Committee room - although the Committee room can be hired separately since it has separate access.

Heating, Electricity, Chairs, tables, crockery and cutlery are all included within the hire fee.

There is a small installed PA / Induction loop system that is available for use although a deposit would be required for the hand held radio microphone.

 

Other Equipment:

Many items of equipment (I.E. tables and chairs) can also be hired for use elsewhere.

Full stage lighting and sound equipment as required for a play or show belongs to Kelvedon Players can be hired separately from them. Click here for contact details.

Car Parking

Situated behind the Institute Hall, with the entrance down the side of the Conservative Club is the Kelvedon Parish Council Community Car Park. This car park is pay and display between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Friday.

Charges are:

Up to 2 Hours          £0.20

Up to 3 Hours          £1.00

Up to 4 Hours          £1.50

4 hours and over     £5.00

4 hours free parking for Disabled Permit holders
